According to Gyan Ganga, the primary reason people continue to feel distressed despite worshiping numerous gods and goddesses is that they are unknowingly worshiping under the influence of incomplete or incorrect knowledge. The gods and goddesses they are worshiping are not the Supreme God, but instead, deities who are themselves bound by the cycle of birth, death, and karmic consequences. This incomplete worship cannot provide true peace or liberation, leading to ongoing suffering and distress.
In Gyan Ganga, it is explained that most people worship gods like Brahma, Vishnu, Shiv, and various goddesses such as Durga, unaware that these deities are not the Supreme Creator but rather part of the material creation. These deities are subject to the three gunas (qualities) and serve specific roles in the management of the material world. For example:
Despite their powers, these deities are not free from the cycle of birth and death, as they too are under the control of Kaal Brahm (also known as Jyoti Niranjan), the ruler of 21 universes. Worshiping these deities, while it may bring temporary benefits such as material gains or relief from minor problems, does not result in permanent peace, nor does it lead to salvation or liberation from the cycle of birth and death.
Many people are unaware of the complete spiritual knowledge, or Tattavgyan, and continue to engage in rituals and prayers to deities who cannot grant them ultimate peace or liberation. This lack of understanding is a result of being misled by incorrect interpretations of scriptures or blindly following traditional practices. As a result, despite their devotion, they still experience distress, anxiety, and dissatisfaction because they are not connecting with the Supreme Power that can liberate them from all suffering.
According to Gyan Ganga, the only entity capable of granting true peace and liberation is Supreme God Kabir, also known as KavirDev. He is beyond the material realm and is not subject to birth, death, or the effects of karma. Supreme God Kabir has revealed the complete spiritual knowledge in various scriptures and emphasized that true devotion (bhakti) should be directed toward Him in order to achieve liberation from all suffering.
In the sacred speech of God Kabir, as presented in Gyan Ganga, He states that worshiping deities like Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiv may give temporary relief, but it will not free the soul from the cycle of birth and death. True devotion to Supreme God Kabir, through the guidance of a Tatvadarshi Sant (a true spiritual teacher), is the only way to attain eternal peace and salvation.
The book Gyan Ganga references several scriptures to support this teaching, including:
The book also quotes the Holy Vedas and Purans to show that Supreme God Kabir is beyond the cycle of creation and destruction and is the only source of ultimate liberation.
To escape distress and attain lasting peace, Gyan Ganga advocates that individuals should:
The reason we still feel distressed despite worshiping many gods and goddesses, as explained in Gyan Ganga, is that we are not connecting with the Supreme Power who can truly alleviate suffering. Worshiping deities bound by the cycle of birth and death can provide temporary relief but does not offer lasting peace or liberation. Only through the worship of Supreme God Kabir, who is beyond all creation, can one achieve true happiness and freedom from all forms of distress.
